It served during the wars of the French Revolution, the Napoleonic wars and the Anglo-American war. On October 24, 1798, ôLeopardö captured a French private ship ôApolloö, commanded by Captain La Vaillant. On August 22, 1800, ôLeopardö captured ôClarissaö. In 1812, ôLeopardö was deprived of its weapons and turned into a military transport. On June 28, 1814, going from the Great Britain to Quebec and carrying a contingent of 475 royal Scotsmen, the ship took the ground near the Coast of Anticosti Island in a thick fog and was destroyed.

This model is recommended for all sailing enthusiasts. Like all the previous models of the author Albert Drybnik, this model has a maximum level of complexity, and, accordingly, can only be proposed to experienced model-makers.
