Su-1 (I-135) is a soviet experimental fighter plane of the times of the Great Patriotic War. In total were built only 2 copies of the aircraft. The first experimental aircraft I-135 (from December 1940 was denoted as the Su-1) was built at the Kharkov factory on May 25, 1940. On June 15, a pilot A.P. Chernavsky made the first flight on it. On April 16, 1941, the aircraft works on the Su-1 and Su-3 were terminated "... in connection with the revealed inexpediency of further designing, construction and testing ...". Their further fate is obscure.
The model has a middle level of difficulty. An absence of verbal instructions is compensated by detailed assembly drawings. It is recommended for all fans of Military air force.
