In 1946–1947 on the assignment of the Ministry of the River Fleet of the USSR, a project was developed for a double-deck passenger ship for local lines. In 1948-1949 at the Moscow shipbuilding and ship repairing plant began a large-scale production of this type of ships called ‘Moskvitch’. The building of these vessels continued for another three decades at different factories. In total, there were bult more than five hundred ships of this type. Currently, many of these vessels are in operation, despite the fact that many of them have already crossed the 50-year mark.
A small interesting model has an average level of detailing, but still we recommend it to experienced model makers, because there are quite a few small details in this model.
